WOOD: Sineu Graff is FSC® and PEFC certified

Warm and natural, wood, a "zero emission" material imbues our furniture with comfort and a smart appearance. With several types available (ash, larch or exotic), our wood is exclusively harvested from sustainably-managed forests. Of high quality, they are PEFC-certified for a local origin or complies with the procedures involving due diligence in accordance with the EUTR (European Union Timber Regulation). On request, our exotic woods are also available with the FSC® label.

We are supplied by local providers in accordance with our forecast annual needs:

• Ash, from Europe
• Larch, from Europe
• Exotic wood, from Africa. On request, our exotic woods are also available with the FSC® label.

All of our wooden parts, regardless of type, are stained (except for untreated wood) applied during the Sineu Graff automatic process. After application of a FLOW-COAT, the wood is coated with an aqueous emulsion stain, without the use of solvents, applied through anelectrostatic process.

STEEL

Used because it is flexible and easy to combine, steel give furnishings maximum solidity. The steel used in Sineu Graff furnishings is E 24-grade under the standard NF EN 1000 25. Every stage in the transformation of steel sheets and profiles take place in the Sineu Graff workshops.

For optimum protection against rust and long-term performance, the steel elements are zinc coated first, and go through our powder blast painting process: after cleaning and shot-blasting, the parts are coated with an initial layer of epoxy powder and a second layer of polyester powder.
This system enables you to customise the urban furniture in matt, glossy or sandy colours.

Stainless steel (316L-grade), is treated after scouring, electro-polishing, then passivation or micro-peening.

CORTEN STEEL

For some furniture, Sineu Graff offers a Corten steel solution:

This material makes the development look both modern and natural. Corten steel is appreciated for its resistance and longevity and will positively impact he urban landscape for a long time.

Different options are available:

• Raw Corten steel: unrusted raw metal sheet colour
• Rusted Corten steel
• Rusted and passivated Corten steel: to greatly slow down later rusting in order to prevent run-outs
• Rusted Corten steel, passivated then varnished to prevent rust on the floor covering and friction stains.

CAST IRON

Cast iron is an extremely durable material that offers a hugely varied range of forms and rich texture. It is used to make Sineu Graff benches very attractive. Either in flake or spheroidal graphite form, it is used for the bases of the benches and bench seats. When associated with wood, it adds flexibility and comfort to the furniture. The cast iron used by Sineu Graff comes from an Alsatian foundry.

All cast iron components are treated using our POWDER BLAST painting process: after cleaning and shot-blasting, the parts are coated with an initial layer of epoxy powder and a second layer of polyester powder. This system enables you to customise the urban furniture in matt, glossy or sandy colours.

RECYCLED REINFORCED PLASTIC

Sineu Graff offers a selection of urban furniture with seats made of recycled reinforced plastic. This material is the ideal solution for spaces with a lot of traffic and that do not require any particular maintenance. All of the made of recycled reinforced plastic have a galvanised steel reinforcement for optimum performance and stability of the seat.
